About the School
ACE Amandla Charter High School is a public charter high school located in Chicago's Chicago Lawn neighborhood. Founded in 2004, the school focuses on architecture, construction, and engineering, serving approximately 500 students from various south side neighborhoods. It emphasizes high-quality instruction and real-world experiences to prepare students for post-secondary success. The school offers a STEM-focused curriculum designed to support minority and low-income students. With small class sizes and dedicated teachers, ACE Amandla provides a range of programs, including robotics, computer programming, and music. Students benefit from internships, such as summer programs with industry partners like FH Paschen, which provide hands-on experience in the construction field. As a tuition-free institution, ACE Amandla is committed to comprehensive academic and social preparation, including college readiness support.
