Education for Change Public Schools (EFC) is the largest charter management organization in Oakland, California, operating seven preK-8 schools that serve over 3,000 underserved students in the Fruitvale and Elmhurst neighborhoods. Founded in 2005, EFC aims to provide a high-quality education to Oakland?? most vulnerable children, focusing on academic achievement and innovative teaching methods. EFC manages a diverse portfolio of schools, including four elementary schools and two K-8 charter schools, such as Achieve Academy and Epic Middle School.
