The Palm Springs Unified School District (PSUSD) is a public school district located in Riverside County, Southern California. Established in 1958, it serves over 20,000 students across 28 schools in the western Coachella Valley, including communities such as Palm Springs, Cathedral City, Desert Hot Springs, Palm Desert, Rancho Mirage, and Thousand Palms. The district is committed to providing a comprehensive K??2 education, featuring 15 elementary schools, one K?? Charter school, five middle schools, and four comprehensive high schools. PSUSD focuses on supporting diverse student needs, including English Language Learners and socioeconomically disadvantaged students. The district has a strong graduation rate of 96.6% and employs nearly 1,275 certificated staff members.
