Channelview Independent School District (Channelview ISD) is a public 6A school district located in Southeast Texas, near Houston. It serves over 9,000 students from Pre-K through 12th grade across 12 campuses, including elementary schools, junior high/middle schools, and a high school. The district is committed to fostering the intellectual, social, emotional, and physical growth of its students, preparing them to be responsible and contributing members of society. Established in 1938, Channelview ISD has a rich history of community engagement. The district's student population is diverse, with a significant percentage being Hispanic and economically disadvantaged.
