Southeast Polk Community School District (SEP) is a public K??2 school district located in suburban Des Moines and rural Polk County, Iowa. It serves over 7,500 students across 11 schools, covering approximately 114 square miles. Founded in May 1961 through the consolidation of several districts, SEP is the 13th-largest school district in Iowa by student enrollment.
