William Penn School District (WPSD) is a public school district located in southeastern Delaware County, Pennsylvania. It serves approximately 4,500 to 5,000 students in grades K-12 across 11 schools in the communities of Aldan, Colwyn, Darby, East Lansdowne, Lansdowne, and Yeadon Boroughs. The district is committed to nurturing and empowering students to be career and college ready, emphasizing collaboration with families and communities. WPSD includes eight elementary schools, a middle school, and two high school campuses. The district employs around 328 full-time teachers, maintaining a student-teacher ratio of 14:1 to 15:1. In addition to traditional education, WPSD offers alternative education programs, a Blended Schools program for accelerated learning, and a Cyber Academy for virtual learning. The district aims to provide quality education that prepares students for their future endeavors.
