Benjamin Franklin Senior High School is a public K-12 school located in the Highland Park neighborhood of Los Angeles, California. It is part of the Los Angeles Unified School District and serves approximately 1,350-1,400 students in grades 6-12. Established in 1916, the school has a student-teacher ratio of 18:1 and a student-counselor ratio of 225:1, with 25% of its students identifying as minorities. The school offers a college-ready curriculum that includes Advanced Placement (AP) courses and Career Technical Education (CTE) classes. It provides support for college applications, including financial aid assistance and A-G course planning.
