About the School
Brooks-DeBartolo Collegiate High School (BDCHS) is a tuition-free public charter high school located in Tampa, Florida. Established in 2005 by Derrick Brooks and the DeBartolo family, BDCHS serves grades 9-12 and focuses on providing a college preparatory education in a supportive environment for around 600 students from the Tampa Bay area. The school emphasizes small class sizes and a technology-rich curriculum designed to foster lifelong learning and responsible citizenship. BDCHS has consistently received an "A" grade from the Florida Department of Education and has been recognized as one of "America?? Best High Schools." It is also designated as a Florida School of Excellence and a National Blue Ribbon School. The school offers a range of academic programs that promote college and career readiness, along with personalized support through its student services office.
