About the School
California Montessori Project (CMP) is a public, tuition-free charter school network in the Greater Sacramento area, operating six campuses and serving over 3,000 students. CMP offers a Montessori curriculum that aligns with California state standards, emphasizing hands-on learning to support students' intellectual, social, and emotional development. The network includes campuses such as American River, Shingle Springs, Elk Grove, Capitol, and San Juan. CMP provides inclusive Montessori classrooms where students with and without disabilities learn together. Special education services are tailored to individual needs, ensuring all students receive the support they require.
