About the School
The Career Technology Center of Lackawanna County (CTCLC) is a public career and technical education center located in Scranton, Pennsylvania. Established in 1973, it serves students from eight member school districts in Northeastern Pennsylvania, as well as additional tuition and non-member students. CTCLC offers instruction in over 20 career areas, operating on a half-day model that allows students to balance their time between CTCLC and their home school districts. CTCLC provides a variety of programs, including a practical nursing program that spans 52 weeks over 15 months. Other offerings include Culinary Arts, Creative Communications, and Print Production Technology, among others. The center also facilitates student enrollment and placement through an electronic application process and provides cooperative vocational education opportunities, connecting students with employers for work-based learning experiences.
