About the School
Credo High School is a tuition-free, college-preparatory public charter school located in Rohnert Park, California. Established in 2011, it serves 410 students in grades 9-12 and is recognized as the largest Waldorf high school in the United States. Credo is the first and only public Waldorf high school certified by the Association of Waldorf Schools of North America. The school follows Waldorf education principles, focusing on critical thinking, creativity, and responsibility. Its writing-intensive curriculum exceeds University of California admission requirements and includes core academics, language instruction in Spanish and Mandarin, and a variety of arts and physical education programs. Credo is accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges and has been recognized as a California Distinguished School. With a student-teacher ratio of 15:1, Credo emphasizes sustainability and community engagement in its educational approach.
