About the School
Greenwood High School (GHS) is a public high school located in Greenwood, Arkansas, serving around 900 students in grades 10-12. Known as the home of the Bulldogs, GHS is dedicated to "Providing Excellence in Education." The school emphasizes academic rigor, career preparation, leadership development, and community involvement, supported by a team of three full-time administrators and 68 certified staff members. GHS offers over 100 classes, including 20 concurrent courses in partnership with UA Fort Smith and Arkansas Tech University, as well as career and technical programs for vocational certifications. The Career Action Plan (CAP) program allows advisers to work closely with students on their educational and career goals. Additionally, GHS features a Junior Air Force ROTC program recognized for its community service.
