Fairhope High School (FHS) is a public secondary school located in Fairhope, Alabama, serving grades 9-12 within the Baldwin County Public Schools system. Established in 1923, the school moved to its current 80-acre campus in 1993. With an enrollment of approximately 1,450-1,536 students, FHS maintains a student-teacher ratio of about 15:1 and is fully accredited by AdvancED. The school is recognized for its strong academic performance, ranking sixth among Alabama high schools by U.S. News & World Report. FHS offers a variety of academic programs, including Advanced Placement (AP) courses, International Baccalaureate programming, and a Gifted & Talented program. The school has received College Success Awards for its efforts in preparing students for higher education.
