About the School
Southern York County School District (SYCSD) is a public school district located in South Central Pennsylvania, near the Maryland border. It serves approximately 2,900 students from kindergarten through 12th grade across a 61-square-mile area, which includes Shrewsbury Township, Codorus Township, and several boroughs. The district is dedicated to academic excellence and works closely with families and the community to prepare students for future success. The district develops a comprehensive plan every three years to ensure high student achievement, with the latest plan covering the 2024-2027 school years. Each school within the district has its own dedicated online presence.
