Sweetwater Union High School District (SUHSD) is a public secondary school district based in Chula Vista, California. Established in 1920, it is one of the largest and oldest districts in the state, serving a diverse community across approximately 100 square miles. SUHSD provides education for grades 7-12 and offers programs for adult learners and middle school students. The district is governed by a five-member Board of Trustees and led by Superintendent Dr. Moises Aguirre. With an enrollment of around 36,557 students and over 9,000 adult learners, SUHSD operates 32 campuses, including 12 high schools, 11 middle schools, and several alternative education and adult schools.
