About the School
The High School for Innovation in Advertising and Media (IAM) is a public, co-educational Career and Technical Education (CTE) school located in the Canarsie neighborhood of Brooklyn, New York. It is the first high school in the United States dedicated solely to preparing students for careers in the advertising and media industry. Established through a partnership between the 4A's and the New York City Department of Education, IAM serves students in grades 9 through 12 and offers a six-year P-TECH program that allows students to earn both a high school diploma and an associate's degree in Advertising and Media from the New York City College of Technology. IAM provides a comprehensive educational experience that combines rigorous academic coursework with practical skills training.
