Mastery Schools is a non-profit network of 24 charter schools, with 23 currently operating, that serves over 14,000 students in grades K-12 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and Camden, New Jersey. Founded in 2001, the organization employs more than 1,850 staff members and is dedicated to ensuring that all students acquire the academic and personal skills necessary for postsecondary success. The network is recognized for its effective turnaround of failing neighborhood schools, achieving significant improvements in student achievement.
